Biggest Roadblocks to Financial Success

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOften times I’m asked what the biggest roadblock is to financial success.

For the most part there are two problems that you need to deal with when achieving financial success.

The first is mindset – not believing that you can manage your money or that you can ever change your financial situation.

If you don’t believe that you can be financially successful, if you don’t believe that you can grow a strong company, if you don’t believe that you can learn about investing, then guess what, you never will.

Our mind is a powerful tool and until you get your mind thinking that you can do these things you are going to run into roadblock after roadblock.   Take some time and work on your money mindset.

There are many ways to work on your mindset.  Including books with exercises such as The Energy of Money, EFT, hypnotherapy, positive affirmations, counseling and meditation.   The key is to focus on getting your mindset to a place where you believe that you can have financial success.

The second big roadblock is taking action.

Many of us talk about what we want or do busy work around what we want but we don’t really take meaningful action.

You can read a thousand personal finance books, but if you never take action then you won’t find financial success. (Click to Tweet)

You need to take what you want and are learning about and then apply it!  Apply it as soon as possible because not only is the action going to move you forward, but you’re going to learn from experience while taking action.

Go ahead right now and put on your calendar one thing that you’ve been talking about or reading about, but haven’t actually done and take action on it.   Give it a date and get going.

You control if you are financially successful.  By working on your money mindset and lack of taking action, you will move yourself in the right direction.

I’m working on the “taking action” step. It’s definitely easy to let all those fears get in the way! I took a big step for me the other night though and I really think it will help propel me forward.

Congrats on starting to Action! It really can be scary, but once you have taken a few steps it gets easier!
